Pressure Washing Pricing & Compliance Pack
The two things that quietly kill exterior-cleaning businesses are pricing below your true cost floor, and discharging wash water somewhere you were not allowed to. This pack fixes both — with tools you use on the next estimate, not another article to read.
$29 · one-time · instant tools, no subscription
Includes the cost-floor calculator, the compliance checklist, and every template below. Access is delivered to the email you use at checkout.

1. The cost-floor pricing calculator
An interactive worksheet that takes your real numbers — truck payment, insurance, fuel, chemical cost per gallon, equipment reserve, your target owner's wage — and returns the number most operators never actually compute: the hourly rate below which every job you sell loses money. It then converts that into your per-square-foot rate, your minimum job charge, and a go/no-go line for any quote. Change one input and every downstream number updates.
This is the same method laid out in How to Price Pressure Washing Jobs, built as a tool instead of a worked example.
2. The runoff & wastewater compliance checklist
A pre-job checklist covering the questions that decide whether a job is legal: is the surface generating a regulated discharge, does the wash water reach a storm drain or a sanitary sewer, does the work require capture and haul-off, and what your municipality's BMP document actually obliges you to do. Includes the three lawful disposal routes, the capture methods that satisfy inspectors, a documentation sheet to keep on file per job, and the questions to ask your local stormwater office — with the phrasing that gets a usable answer.
Background and citations: Pressure Washing Wastewater Rules.
3. Quote, contract and waiver templates
- An itemised quote template that prices compliance as a visible line item rather than absorbing it
- Scope-of-work language that closes the two most common change-order fights (surface damage, pre-existing staining)
- A property-condition waiver for oxidised siding, failing sealant and loose mortar
- A takedown / re-service clause you can reuse for seasonal work
4. The objection scripts
Word-for-word responses to "the other guy quoted half that", "can you just do it cheaper if I pay cash", and "why are you charging me to haul away water" — each tied back to a number from your own calculator, so you are defending a figure instead of arguing about it.
Who this is for
Owner-operators and small crews doing residential and light commercial exterior cleaning — pressure washing, soft washing, driveways, flatwork, fleet and dumpster-pad work. It is most useful if you are quoting off gut feel, if you have never separated your overhead from your labour rate, or if you take commercial work where a compliance question could actually be asked.
It is not for you if you already run a costed P&L with a known break-even hourly rate and a written stormwater BMP. You have the pack already; you built it yourself.
How delivery works
Checkout is handled by Stripe — card details never touch this site. Your access link is sent to the email address you enter at checkout, and the pack is web-based and printable, so there is nothing to install. If it has not arrived, or you want it immediately, email [email protected] with your Stripe receipt and it will be sent straight back to you.
Refunds
If the pack does not tell you something you can act on, reply to your receipt within 30 days and ask for a refund. You will get one, and you can keep the files. Arguing about $29 is not a business model.
