Turn your Bluebook practice-test raw score into a real 400–1600 estimate — including the part most calculators ignore: which Module 2 you were routed to. Free, no signup, runs entirely in your browser.
The Digital SAT is section-adaptive. Each section has two modules. Everyone gets the same mixed-difficulty Module 1; how you do on it decides whether Module 2 is the harder set or the easier set. Those two routes are scored on different scales.
That is why "35 out of 54 correct" has no single answer. The same 35 correct can be a 590 on the harder route or roughly a 500 on the easier one. Any calculator that asks only for your total correct is quietly guessing, and it will not tell you it guessed.
If you land on the easier Module 2, a perfect raw score in that section still tops out somewhere near 600. You cannot reach a top section score from the easier route no matter how flawless the rest of your test is. Module 1 is the module that decides your ceiling — so pacing and accuracy there matter more per question than anywhere else on the test.
| Section | Questions | Time | Score range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reading & Writing, Module 1 | 27 | 32 min | 200–800 |
| Reading & Writing, Module 2 | 27 | 32 min | |
| Math, Module 1 | 22 | 35 min | 200–800 |
| Math, Module 2 | 22 | 35 min | |
| Total | 98 | 2h 14m | 400–1600 |
A few questions in each section are unscored pretest items, and you are never told which. Enter your raw correct out of the full counts above — that is what the published practice-test curves are built on.
Already know your raw correct and just want the number? Every raw score has its own page showing both adaptive routes side by side: 38 of 44 Math, 32 of 44 Math, 46 of 54 R&W, 40 of 54 R&W — or browse every raw-score conversion.
These curves are estimated from publicly reported College Board Bluebook practice-test score conversions. Real scoring uses item-response theory calibrated to the specific form you sat, so treat the output as a range, not a number. Expect your official score to land within roughly ±30 points per section of the midpoint shown. It is a planning tool for practice tests, not a prediction of test day.
Then the fix is not more easy practice — it is being ready for the hard-tier questions that decide the routing. The Digital SAT Math Module 2 Survival Kit is 12 hardest-tier problems with fully worked solutions (every step shown, not just an answer key), the Module 2 routing strategy guide, and a formula-and-traps sheet built for the digital format with Desmos.
